This picture doesn't show me confidence

in the righteousness of the subject or the truth of what he says. He's walking out of the courthouse instead of into it. Of course, it's a better picture.
The relief on his face doesn't cancel the reality that he 1. is under suspicion of criminal conduct and 2. faced a grand jury.
I understand that when Plame was outed, as many as seventy to a hundred people faced mortal danger. This is not a matter of one name, one person and one married couple. The exposure of Plame had repercussions far beyond politics, and ones that were destructive in the real world. Yes, the real world that this man imperiously chooses not to think about.
