I don't want to seem cynical,

but I'm convinced that King George is asleep every night seconds after his head hits the pillow. Macbeth's insomnia was natural and indicated the robust moral and mental health of the "worthy thane" before his ambition and his wife sucked the marrow out that nourished his virtue. Even though I've often compared events in this country to the progress of Shakespeare's Macbeth, the fact is that Shakespeare's tragic hero is more redeemable than the banal unelected fraud in the White House.
